Way back in the day I used to post recipe links on this blog, but then I just kept making the same items over and over. This week you get a recipe link.

My DD and DH will eat many vegetables, but green beans are a daughter favorite since she began eating solid food. For dinner the other night I made them one of her favorite ways, roasted. This is a super easy recipe that looks great and tastes even better.

Now what is a recipe if I don’t fiddle around with it really! I had no shallots, in fact I do not believe I have ever made this recipe with all of the ingredients listed. I simply trimmed the fresh green beans shook them in a bowl with olive oil and some chopped garlic. The secret ingredient is my organic lemon zest and fresh chopped walnuts.

I have made this recipe numerous times since I discovered it and it is always a winner.
