New Knitting Bag

After some trial and error I think I have found the knitting project bag I like the most, either the Field Bag or Town Bag. I have discovered I like a drawstring bag and really do not care if I have a zippered pocket. I try to keep zippers away from my yarn (I have been called many things and graceful/coordinated is never one of them). Of course milage may vary from person to person, but those bags are the ones I reach for over and over again.

A Field bag will hold your smaller projects and a Town Bag is big enough for a sweater. I keep a small tin in each bag filled with stitch markers and foldable scissors. A measuring tape rounds out all the tools I usually need. If required I can sneak in try on cords.

I bought Smokey the Bear fabric from Purpleseamstress Fabric quite a few months ago. I purchased it with the idea of making a knitting bag. It finally occurred last weekend. I had enough to make the Town Bag.

I think it turned out quite nice. It already has my Garden Bee crochet purse pieces inside ready for me to work away.
