Pre-Thanksgiving Reading
I finished Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. It does hold your interest and as the title suggests it really concerns one of the main characters who participated in the orphan train. This is a work of fiction though. The second “main” character is in the book to move the book along in the present time, honestly she just should have been dropped. Her story did not really add anything and often her story seemed like an afterthought. Leonard and Hungry Paul by Ronan Hession has gone down as a did not finish. It was needed back at the library before I could finish. I’m back in the line to take it out again.
Kindle
Every Time I Go on Vacation, Someone Dies by Catherine Mack. Not great literature, but an easy read. I’m about 25% in the book and so far no one has actually died in this mystery? I will finish the book, but am not a fan of the writing style.
