Salty Hoodie

I bought a iron-on from Temu a few months ago. I was going to put it on a shirt, but decided I wanted to make a hoodie and use it on the hoodie.

I was very happy with the Patterns for Pirates Homecoming Hoodie dress I made a few weeks ago. The pattern of course can be used to make a hoodie. I had some light sweatshirt fleece I picked up last season at Joanns.

It is sweatshirt fleece so has a small amount of stretch and is super soft. I cut out all the pieces. Before sewing the front and back together I completed the iron-on portion of the project. It was easier to do the iron-on before the hoodie was completely together.

I need to shorten the length and width on the sleeve pattern piece. I think it turned out super cute. It is not a heavy duty hoodie so will be perfect for my desert climate.
