6th pair of Socks for the year
I saw Jana from Kettu Knits make a pair of Grannies-in-Row socks a few months ago. It is a rare unicorn to find a pattern that uses both crochet and knitting in the same pattern. I do not count if they have you crochet a chain in a pattern. It took me a while to finish these socks because other projects kept pushing their way to the front of the knitting line.
A close up of the tiniest granny squares I have ever crocheted.
The yarn is from the October 2023 Yarnable subscription box. It has some very bright colors mixed in to the yarn.
The second sock seemed lighter in color than the first but it does not bother me. I did modify the pattern to not add stripes and garter ridges in between colors. I had enough ends to weave in with all the tiny granny squares I did not need more ends by changing colors every 5 rows. Most importantly they fit!
