Barbie Dress

Maybe it has already been a year since I bought a Barbie panel and matching french terry material. I have been waiting for the perfect pattern. I used them both to make another Rival dress from George & Ginger Pattern Company.

A side view. I tried a regular neckband but it refused to play nice. Therefore, I added an unlined hood.

The material was a dream to work with. French terry is the perfect weight for my desert winters here. The little bit of wonkiness on the seams will straighten right out once I give it a wash. I am very happy with this sew. I cut the next size up and also this material has much more stretch than sweatshirt fleece. It fits perfectly.
