Basic Tshirt

I cannot remember when I purchased the Love Notions Basic Tshirt pattern. Lucky for me I had it in my stash. I used scraps of knit for the sleeves.

Here I have sewn the shoulder seams together and am attaching the short sleeves to each side.

You sew the shoulder seams and then sew on the sleeves. After those seams are completed you sew in a straight line each side of the shirt including the underarm seams of the sleeves.

The pattern offers 3 choices for the neckline. I selected the v-neck and in the above picture I have just serged it onto the shirt. The pictures in the pattern are very helpful for attaching the collar.

This is about 90% finished just had to hem the bottom. The fit is wonderful. The v neck is not too low. I am very pleased with the make and can see quite a few more in my future.
