Be Kind Shirt
Mondays at my school are labeled Be Kind days. Everyone from staff to students are encouraged to wear shirts that encourage kindness. Don't get me started about how a shirt is supposed to get people to be kinder (another day, another post). Any woo, I really do not enjoy wearing tshirts to work. I will wear one on Friday for a casual look but I never feel professionally dressed in a tshirt.
I bought a few panels from Raspberry Creek Fabrics to make myself some "dressier" shirts for the Be Kind Days.
This is the first effort. It is much more comfortable than the tshirts provided to wear for the event. Now if it would only stop being 100 degrees each day so I could wear a 3/4 sleeve length!
I used the Greenstyle raglan shirt pattern I had already tested earlier this year. Turned out quite nice, not super dressy but I think it looks much nicer that what I had been wearing.
