Beginning December Reads

Oops, I might have to readjust the goal in Goodreads for this year. According to my page I have only read 68 books so far this year. I am 28 books behind my goal. Now, I am a fast reader but I do not think even I can read 28 books in a month.

I finished SPQR: A History of Ancient Rome by Mary Beard. I know lots of early Roman history now. This is an excellent audio book selection (I am not sure you would finish the whole book if you could not listen to it).

The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett. This is back at my house, but still not being read:(

The Greenglass House by Kate Milford. This is a young adult book, but very well written and not juvenile. A mystery set in an imagery land.

Audio Book

The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng. The listening has slowed a little due to knitting time and vlogmas watching.
