Cube Steak Dinner

I usually receive at least one package of cube steak in my meat order. I am still trying to find recipes that create a delicious meal using cube steak. I personally just find this cut chewier than I prefer. I have found at least one that has potential, cube steak recipe.

I followed the recipe pretty much as written. This was quite a process. I added both onions and mushrooms to my cast iron skillet.

I made a batch of mashed potatoes to serve with the dinner. My husband ate it up! It also heated up quite nicely for lunch the next day. It was okay, but I would not order it in a restaurant for myself.
