Dinner- Cheeseburger Pasta

I found the original recipe for Cheeseburger pasta on the side of Campbells Cheddar Cheese soup about a dozen years ago. My DD loves this dish. She really loved it when she was younger. It is kinda like a hamburger helper but made without the box. When she was younger I probably made it at least once a week. As she has aged she has expanded her acceptable meal ideas so I don't make it as often.

Over the years I have adapted and changed it a little to suit our tastes. Below is a picture of the ingredients. The only one missing is Worcestershire Sauce - I had forgotten to pull it out just before I snapped the picture.

It is an easy quick skillet dinner. Cook your 1 pound of ground beef in a skillet. While you are cooking the ground beef, boil water and cook your pasta (I usually use about 1/2 pound). Once the beef is done add in the can of cheddar cheese soup, fill the empty can with water and pour that into the pan. Add in about 1/4 cup of ketchup and about a teaspoon of worcestershire sauce. Mix the ingredients in the pan and then add the cooked, drained pasta and stir again. Keep on a low flame for about 5 minutes.

I usually serve with french fries and a side of vegetables for a nice even plate. I have no idea why the meat looks pink in this picture but I swear I cooked it to the required temperature. Remember I teach kindergarten where I do not have to instruct my students in photo taking skills. If you need help with your letter names and sounds I'm your gal, picture taking not so much!
