End of March Reads

It is just a silly little item from Kindle but if you have the app on your phone they have 3 month reading challenges. I just completed all 16 items in the challenge and it made me very happy.

I finished The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert. It was well written but the genre is not my favorite. I will not be continuing with the series.

Hardcover Book

The Distant Echo by Val McDermid. A cold case mystery set in Scotland. The first in a series starring a detective Karen Pirie. The author is a very well known author. I am enjoying the book so far.

Audio Book

News of the World by Paulette Jiles. About 2/5 of the way through the listen. A very well written book set in Texas.

Kindle Book

On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century by Timothy Snyder. A very short, but well written book that will cause you to think. I am reading it in smaller doses so the ideas and words can be properly absorbed.
