End of May Reading
According to my Kindle I have read 25 books on it so far this year! I finished Diva by Daisy Goodwin and Return To Valetto by Dominic Smith. I enjoyed both and they got 4-5 stars each.
Hardcover Book
The Cornish Coast Murder by John Bude. A slightly cozy mystery due to the age in which it was written. (1930s). This is a part of the Poisoned Pen series put out by Penguin classics. These are wonderful mysteries that had fallen out of print.
Audio Book
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. This book is such a delight. She was such a talented writer who saw people and wrote about them so well you can imagine them quite easily in your mind when reading.
Madness: The Search for Sanity in Asylum, and the Legacy of Race in Mental Health by Antonia Hylton. This is a hard book to listen to because of the subject matter. Nothing like a little light summer reading.
Kindle Book
Jane Austen at Home: A Biography by Lucy Worsley. Perfect pairing of reading this book while listening to Northanger Abbey. That title is mentioned more than once in this book - clear as mud?
