End of the Month Reading

I finished listening to The Plague of Doves by Louise Erdrich. I did not enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed her other novels.

Hardcover Book

The Old Drift by Namwali Serpell. I am now about 40 pages in and it does seem to be getting better. The first little bit of prologue was difficult to read. I'll keep going for a little longer before a final decision will be made.

Car Audio

The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson. I do enjoy this author and this audio book is read by him. It is not laugh out loud funny but has its moments. I think it would appeal if you grew up in the 1950s-1970s. For others it might seem quite a bit dated.
