Finished Raglan Knit
One of the items on my YOP list was to knit a pattern by Tif Neilan. I have a few of her patterns in my Ravelry libray. I selected the Wisp Raglan as my first one. I swear I did read the pattern but maybe not the yarn labels.
These are the two yarns I selected. The brown is a sport weight Merino/Rambouillet from Fiber For The People. The main color was one I picked up from Hobby Lobby last spring on clearance. Yarn Bee Authentic Hand Dyed Blend in the colorway Farmer's Daughter. I thought it was a sport weight also, but after reading the label again I realized it's a fingering weight. Despite the yarn issue I went ahead anyway with the plan.
I actually am quite pleased with the result. I will need to wear a camisole or undershirt underneath the sweater due to a les than tight weave. Not a deal breaker on the knit front.
I think it turned out lovely. I followed the pattern and needle sizes.
It is a very light feeling sweater. Perfect for spring in my area.
The pattern was well written and easy to follow. It was a very quick knit. Only took 2 months to complete. I have already blocked and woven in the ends.
