Finished Socks

I joined the Christmas Eve cast on from lolodidit. I even went stash diving to find a skein of sock yarn I had purchased from the dyer. The colorway is Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. She released a new sock pattern at the same time called the Garland Sock.

I finished these in less than 2 months which I thought was excellent. I really enjoyed the pattern.

The heels and toes I completed in some leftover sock yarn I had from another company. The most important thing about these socks is that they actually fit!

I am a little disappointed that the left sock is about 1/4 inch shorter than the right. Granted not really enough to rip out the cast on ribbing and add another motif but still a little disappointed. I also think I will probably be the only one who actually knows the size difference.

I think I might have to become a 2 sock at time knitter to help me with making my socks the same lengths. This is kinda of a shame because I have just discovered knitting on 9 inch circulars and I really like it.
