Friday Fabric

Now I have quite a nice fabric collection but there are always sales, etc. to tempt a seamstress. I bought a length of National Park panels from knitfabric.com the other week. They often have very cute panels.

They also have a neat service where you can order a solid in the same fabric base and ask the company to match the panel. This is very helpful because usually the colors are quite true on web pages, but not always. It is hard to match a panel to coordinating fabric without it in your hand. I asked them to make the color in the panels and they sent me white and marked it as the best match.

I believe these panels will become hoodies or shirts. I need to start making hoodies since I learned how to install grommets.
