I was introduced to a new to me indie self striping yarn dyer through numerous other yarn addicts I follow. The dyer is located in Illinois and her shop is called the Freckled Whimsy. This year she has been dying colorways based on the zodiac.

I ordered and just received the Aries colorway.

The colors are so rich and deep. The skein also included a coordinating 20 gram mini to complete heels and toes on a sock. Squishy mail is the best!
