I'm in Love with a New Sock Pattern
I enjoy knitting socks sometimes more than wearing them. After knitting quite a few pairs I think I finally have my measurements correct - this means the socks actually fit. I live in a warmer climate and do not wear socks for approximately half of the year. After knitting many pairs I have decided I like shortie socks best.
I have finally found a sock pattern I can make over and over again - Rose City Rollers. One of the best parts is the pattern is free. Another YOPer highlighted her love of this pattern and I took the plunge. Totally agree with the love of pattern.
I used leftovers from my Wisp Raglan - Yarn Bee Authentic Hand-Dyed Blend (50% merino 50% tencel). I actually still have enough still leftover to knit another pair.
The only modification I did was to use a princess bottom (purls bumps on the outside).
They fit so nicely that as soon as I cast off I cast on another pair!
This pair will use leftovers from a previously knit sock. The pattern is just as enjoyable the second time.
