Knitting Round up for Saturday

I have actually finished the Naughty Sweater, but need to block it before its debut. That will happen next week, I have family events to complete over the next few days.

Since that was off the needles I had to cast on something else! Lolodidit was running a weekend sock challenge (but during the week). I joined in by casting on the other ribbed sock in the zebra colorway.

It is actually further along than this picture will indicate. Good thing I love knitting socks. I was reviewing my yarn collection and darn I have a lot of sock yarn. My needles better get flying.

I am also working on a slow crochet project. Slow only because sometimes knitting is a more potable project than this ornament activity.

I have 4 of the 6 from the pattern completed. It takes about 90 minutes from start to finish. I think I will make the 6 and stop there. I will need to find another use for the cotton yarn that the kit included. This project was sold as a kit complete with pattern and yarn from Herrschnerrs years ago.

Maybe I can wipe up a small crochet market bag or even use it for dishcloths. There are only so many baubles you can hang from a Christmas tree.
