Last Days of August
I finished Pachinko by Lee Min-jinli, A very interesting read about a culture and time period I really knew little to nothing about. Yeah, I finally finished State of Wonder by Ann Patchett. This book took some unexpected twists and turns. The last finish of the week was Five Quarters of an Orange by Joanna Harris. I find her such an interesting writer to read.
Kindle Ebook
Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica. We shall see about this read. It contains already some unlikeable characters and will probably be way to gory and psychologically thrilling for my tastes.
Car Audio
The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. This is the first book in a series. It concerns a group of octogenarians who solve murders. So far it is an absolute delight and I'm only about 7 chapters in.
Hardcover Book
Time After Time by Lisa Grunwald. This book is set in Grand Central Station in New York City in the 1930s-1940s. It is part love story, part ghost story.
