Leftover Easter Dinner Idea
I had ham left over from Easter dinner. I really do not have a recipe for this leftover dinner idea or a picture. My family was very hungry on the night I made it and it got devoured before I could get any pictures!
Cook some egg noodles, or any pasta you have on hand. I cut up the ham leftovers into bite sized pieces. I mixed the ham with some cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, a jar of spaghetti sauce and the cooked pasta. The entire mixture then was placed into a 9x12 baking pan. Set the oven for 350 degrees and bake about 30-40 minutes. Once it is removed from the oven sprinkle a little more shredded mozzarella and pop back into the oven for another 5 minutes (until cheese is melted).
I served it with some homemade garlic bread and a green salad. This finished off the last of our Easter dinner and made use of ingredients that are in any well stocked kitchen. This is a recipe your grandmother probably would have made. I guess I have been cooking quite a while because sometimes it appears I have lost the ability to measure any ingredients. There are no measurements to this recipe just make what feels right for you and your eaters.
