Lotus Bucket Bag - Part II

After cutting out all the pieces some sewing needed to occur for the newest purse. The youtube tutorial makes the inside or lining of the bag first. Below is the first side of the inside with 2 deep pockets.

The other side includes a zippered pocket. The construction and use of the zippered pocket is very clever.

The directions instruct you to leave the bottom of the zippered pocket open. I ironed in a fold that I will use later to close the pocket. The clever portion is that once you sew the lining and outer bag together you pulled the bag right side through the open pocket end.

Once the pieces were together I topstitched them. Below are pictures of the inside of the bag.
