New Month of Reading

I don't have a finish this week but I do have an abandoned read, The Old Drift by Namwali Serpell. Just for a moment I thought the book might be going somewhere I would enjoy, but no. I am sure this book is full of symbolism and important ideas, but I don't want to read a book to enlighten me this month. It was returned to the library.

Hardcover Book

So Brave, Young and Handsome by Leif Enger. I read the author's first novel and was captivated by his writing. This book is also extremely well written with beautifully crafted sentences.

Car Audio

The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson. I am very close to finishing this book. It has been an enjoyable listen.
