New Soap

A few years ago I visited Troy, NY where my mother was raised. I found a delightful little shop that made soap. I bought a few bars. I have been buying soap from this maker ever since. The name of the shop is T and J Handcrafted Soap. She also makes lotions and lip balms (all are equally great). She has a website and also sells on etsy. I prefer to buy from her website (prices are essentially the same with shipping) because I believe she makes more from website sales than from etsy sales.

She always makes special scents for the holidays. You can contact her to see what special scents she has in stock. I just put in my order and it arrived in 3 days.

She always includes a sample piece and a hand written note. Also the soap is just fantastic, no irritation when using and it lasts quite a long time. It leaves no soapy residue in the bath when used - makes it easier to clean.

I have made soap in the past but it is not anywhere as nice as these bars. It is also nice to support a small women owned business.
