Overnight Cinnamon Rolls
I usually make cinnamon rolls for my family to have on Christmas morning while we are opening presents. I have made this recipe a few times and they always turn out. I have actually never frozen the dough, but keep the dough in the fridge overnight.
Whoever gets up first on Christmas morning takes the pan out of the fridge and waits at least an hour before placing them in the oven. I did not make the frosting included on the blog post. The frosting had cream cheese and I never make anything with cream cheese. I just made a simple glaze of powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract.
My family does not like frosting on their cinnamon rolls, just a light glaze. They were delicious.
