Pot Pies

Over the long weekend I was able to get quite a bit of tasty meals into the freezer. My DD loves chicken pot pies. I have been wanting to try my hand at making them for a long time. I will admit I cheated on the crust and did make that from scratch, but the filling is homemade.

The ones above are beef and those below are chicken.

I made them in 5 inch disposable pans. This size is perfect for one person. It also fits into the air fryer. We had some for dinner the other night and they were delicious. This is great news because I bought the pans on Amazon and they came in a pack of 100. I only used 16 to make these pies so there will be many more in the future. Maybe in the summer I can also make and freeze small fruit pies. 100 is a lot of pie making in the future!
