Quilt Blocks

A number of years ago I saw a beautiful string quilt on the internet. Isn't that how all good stories or downfalls start now? Anyway I thought well I can make that. When you sew you have scraps of fabric that are sometimes hard to utilize. I began to cut them into strips of varying lengths. I have been working on string quilt blocks ever since.

There are 21 blocks completed. I always think I'm making progress and then I lay out the blocks and think oops, not so fast. I will just keep plugging away at the blocks. We will see what size this quilt will become eventually. The one thing I love about each block is I can look at the fabrics and remember what I originally sewed with the fabric.
