Reading News

I had no finishes in reading this week. Between trying to finish up Christmas gifts and work (it is the end of the semester so had to write report cards, complete assessments and generally try to keep the kids in line as Christmas rapidly approaches) I did not have much time for reading (spoiler alert I am still madly trying to finish Christmas gift making).

Kindle Book

The Distant Hours by Kate Morton. I read just a few chapters more in this book. The book is enjoyable when reading, but it does not reach out and grab my attention. I had to do some waiting for an appointment one day after work and that let me have some uninterrupted reading time.

Car Audio

The Starless Sea by Erin Morganstern. I am 75% done with the book. This is probably not the book for everyone, but I find myself quite enjoying it. It is probably in the fantasy category of genre. It is quite long. Other reviewers have claimed the book lacked focus after the first 500 pages (don't we all LOL), but so far I am not finding this to be true for my reading experience.
