Saturday Fiber Update
My needles have been flying over the past week. I am at least halfway through the Sunset Shawl. I have added in 2 of the Lion Brand Mandala skeins and am about ready to attach the third. It is measuring at about 32 inches in length currently.
I have also been busy knitting on the Slipping Sideways socks. I decided to make them shorties of a kind. I have turned the heel and am now on the foot portion. The pattern is delightful.
This is the front of the sock. You only do the slipped stitches on the front and on the heel. Now to cast on the second sock.
Of course I have also been reknitting the Naughty Sweater. I finally figured out helical knitting. Of course this was after I had already reknit 3 inches of what I had originally frogged due to the line in the sweater. Back to the pond I went and frogged those newly knit 3 inches. At least now when I change skeins there is no hole in the knitting. It does seem to take forever to knit even an inch on this sweater. I knit round and round but it does not seem to ever get longer.
