Sock Update

This week I reached decision time on the Advent socks. I had finished 12 stripes so halfway through the skein.

I quickly held up the completed portion to the bottom of my foot and I believe 12 stripes on the sole will be just right.

Therefore I decided to knit the heel and progress onwards. I am planning a Dutch heel. I have done a few of this style and find they fit my foot the best. It will slow me down just a little bit in making progress. Luckily, I am on school vacation so have extra knitting time.
