The week in July Reading
Finished The Antique Hunter's Guide to Murder by C.L. Miller and The Women by Kristen Hannah. Both were good reads, but the subject matter might not be for all. I also began and finished Death Comes to Marlow by Robert Thorogood. The second in a series and the characters are enjoyable.
Hardcover Book
Bygone Days of Nevada Schools by Flo Reed. I am still dipping in and out of this one as time allows.
Table for Two by Amor Towles. I am not usually a short story reader, but for this author I will gladly break that rule.
Audio Book
Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati. Worst husband in the ancient world award goes to Agamemnon. Killing your wife's first husband and child so you can marry her and then killing your own daughter puts you in first place.
Kindle Book
The Duchess of Bloomsbury Street by Helene Hanff. Another delightful book by this author. You really do need to read her first, 84 Charring Cross to understand.
