Thursday Reading

I finished quite a few books over the past week. On my Kindle I read the book, Birnam Wood by Eleanor Canton. This was just a strange book. I read it but really can not recommend it. The story contained a murder (which did not happen until half way through the book), a insane billionaire, a guerilla planting organization and one lone character who despite appearances actually figured out the majority of the plot and survived. I also finished Rose Daughter by Robin McKinley, an okay read and The Turner House by Angela Flournoy, about a black family and the house they own in Detroit.

Hardcover Book

Last Train to Lisbon by Pascal Mercier. This was a huge European bestseller. I have just started it and so far it is holding my interest.

Car Audio

Stone Blind by Natalie Haynes. No further along since I am still focused on my other audio book.

Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. The threads in the book that were introduced in the first third and now becoming tied together into a story.
