Thursday Reading Report

I have one finish for the week, The Secret Chord by Geraldine Brooks. It was a well researched fictionalized version of the story of David from the Bible. Not a great read, but enjoyable and interesting.

Hardcover Book

The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis. I read an earlier book by this same author. I am not very far into the book yet so will reserve judgment. You must love and or be comfortable reading books set in New York City.

Car Audio

Queen Victoria: Daughter, Wife, Mother, and Widow: Daughter, Wife, Mother, and Widow by Lucy Worsley. Just as I really start getting interested in the day the author discusses the book moves onto another important event. It is not as frustrating as it sounds. Does make me want to seek out a good biography of Queen Victoria.
