Reading

I was able to finish The Book of Lost Friends by Lisa Wingate (too predictable), Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr (very enjoyable sorry when the book ended), and The Orphans of Davenport: Eugenics, The Great Depression, and The War Over Children's Intelligence by Marilyn Brookwood.

Kindle Ebook

Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. I have just started this one so will reserve judgement till I am a little further in the book.

Ipod Audio

The Japanese Lover by Isabel Allende. Such a talented writer. I always enjoy her books. I do seem to be on a book kick where there are multiple characters in a book and parts of the book are told from varying perspectives.

Hardcover Book

Chocolat by Joanne Harris. A lovely book set in a small French village. A great study of personalities. Yet another book with 2 characters giving their viewpoints of events. I believe this book may have been made into a film at some point, it was published in 1999. Be prepared you will want to eat chocolate before, during and after reading.
