Year in Cricut Review

Cricut keeps tracks of your crafting and will send you a breakdown of all you did. I was surprised at what it revealed.

I knew I got my Cricut Maker during Covid. It was to give my DD and I something to do. She has made one card on it, but I on the other hand really ended up in love with this machine.

According to Cricut I cut using my machine for:

It seems like I used it more often, but then whenever I pull it out I tend to batch cut out quite a few projects. Even so that is almost twice a month which I think is respectable.

I was surprised that I used it most in October? I was also surprised at what material they claim I use the most.

The Christmas cards I cut out to send must have pushed paper past what I thought would have been my most used material, faux leather.

This did not surprise me. I use other tools (the scoring wheel and at least once the rotary cutter), but this is honestly the tool I would think everyone would use the most. By the way I am still on the original blade that was included with my Cricut in 2020. The blades really do not wear out (despite what you might read online). They do get covered in paper lint and dust and many people mistake this for blade dulling. About once a month I simply push my fine point blade in and out of a waded up piece of foil a few times. This removes anything stuck on the blade.
