Back at the Canning

A local grocery store had fresh pineapples for 99 cents - who could resist. We were also getting a little low on canned pineapple in the canning cupboard. I controlled myself and only picked up 5.

They were not the sweetest ones I have every tried so I did increase the sugar level in the syrup mixture just a little.

I managed to get 10 pints of pineapple canned. I did save some to place on the fruit tray at Easter dinner.
