Yarn Update for 10-5-24
I have been busy and find that having fewer projects on the needles/hooks theoretically leads to more progress. Well let’s see if that is true. I also added links on each title to the Ravelery project page. I am still learning the new website platform and all photos I add are way too large on the page (see below). I need to figure it out but that will take time.
Anthology Throw: Just a few days past my own self-imposed deadline to finish adding mini skein #15 and it is all added. I will soon add mini skein #16.
Socks: Going to a football game leads to some great sock knitting time. I am using up the leftovers from my Cozy Knitter 2023 Self Striping sock Advent yarn. I just love this yarn base and the colors are visually stunning. I have about 20/55 rounds done on the foot. I need another long sporting event to get the first of the pair complete.
Crochet: I began another HanJan project (since the Swift inspired dress turned out so well). She has titled this pattern the Franny Granny Square Poncho - it even has fringe! I am not sure if it will actually be a poncho, it might become more of a sweater/poncho. I have the granny square yoke complete. Now I have to organize my colors so I can follow a color palette that is pleasing to my eye.
Charity Knitting: Oops, this is a crochet, not knit version of the basketweave scarf. I selected the most devilishly dark brown from the yarn donation bin. Um…I need to only work on this one in good lighting. This is my Sunday knitting so it will take more than a minute to finish.
