Ethel, Bring Me My Bag!

I made another Ethel from Swoon Patterns. I am not sure what transpired but if you are looking for Swoon patterns you need to go to themakespace.uk website and you can find them all there.

I had to use one of my new bag panels. Here it is mid production.

Now if I am going to go to the trouble to make a bag I want to add purse feet. Why do purse feet comes in packs of 6? I have never put 6 purse feet on any bag and actually I do not believe I have ever seen a purse with 6 feet.

I do not add any zippers or closures to the top of this bag. I never zip my bags close. I assume you could but I know it would just personally annoy me so I never add this feature.

When I bought the bag panel I also bought the matching fabric for the lining. I did not have enough of the panel fabric to make the outside pocket but I am fine with that.

The lining of this bag is not my best effort. Between the foam interfacing and the iron-on interfacing it was a lot that did not want to be friends. No one but me will ever see the inside of this bag so I can live with the messiness. I have already put it in the rotation. Perfect purse for a kindergarten teacher!
