Week 33 of YOP 14

Small steps of progress were achieved this week.

Knitting Plans/Goals

February Goals: Complete 2 pair of socks for me (I have both the Advent strip and Rhinebeck Roomies on the needles). I do not foresee my Birthday sweater being finished this month, but maybe I can get to the sleeve division.

Update: I completed the first of the pair of Rhinebeck Roomies. I really made quite a bit of progress on the birthday sweater. The right sleeve is completed. Shortening the length of a sleeve makes it knit faster just in case you were wondering.

Sewing Plans/Goals

February goal: My goal this month is to sew a new handbag. I have plans to try a purse I saw at least a year ago. It will take more than a minute to complete but I think it will be a stunner.

Update: I did cut the front panel of the purse I teased for the month. This purse takes a minute because there is weaving of fabric involved. I sewed another Toaster Sweater in a eyelash sweater knit. I was able to wear this beauty in NY where it was frigid. Since my return home it has not been below 60 so it is a little too heavy weight to wear here.

Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals

February goal: Continue with a hour a week.

Update: Maybe next week this will not be making me feel a little grumpy from a lack of progress.

Crochet Plans/Goals

February goal: Finish the outside body of the bag by the end of the month.

Update: Onto round 6 of the 10 need so progress has been accomplished.

Cricut Plans/Goals

February goal: Make at least 2 cards and a pair of earrings.

Update: I believe this goal will be a complete fail this month:(
