Felici is Back, Baby!

Like many sock knitters I know I was saddened to realize that Knit picks was no longer carrying Felici sock yarn earlier this year. Felici for those not in the know is a great basic budget friendly striped sock yarn. I know it comes in other weights but I can only discuss the beauty of it for socks. I am not sure what lead to the very wrong decision to discontinue the 50 gram balls, but the universe is now back in alignment and the company has seen the error its way.

They also had a 30% off sale for Black Friday so some of the newest colorways jumped into my cart. I also bought a bare skein or two. You never know I might want to dye some yarn (stranger things have happened my friends) or I can use it for accents in socks.

I also received my monthly yarnable subscription box, the theme was dinosaurs in December.

One of the fellow knitters I follow from the YOP discussed a yarn dyer, AlwaysBeKindYarn and pattern designer who recently discovered someone has stolen one of her sock patterns and is selling it as her work (may her yarn always tangle into unresolvable knots). The designer has now made her pattern free on Ravelry. I checked out her website and shop. I loved the look of her yarn and her message so I bought a skein of her signature colorway. It also included a stitch marker and super cute stickers.
