First Week in December Wednesday WIPS

Anthology Throw: Mini skein #22 has been added but still need to finish up knitting all the 20 grams before I add the next mini skein.

Socks: On my DD socks I am on the foot portion, about 40 more rounds and she should have a completed 2nd sock. But…now Advent sock knitting is happening.

Charity Knitting: Cast on another Mariner’s Vest for the Christmas at Sea program. These take more than a month to complete so it will most likely be finished sometime in January. I have managed to knit the 2x2 bottom ribbing. Now it will just be straight knitting for inches and inches until the divide for the armholes.

Crochet purse: Did not put a stitch on this project this week.

Birthday Cake Pop Sweater: I have been distracted by shiny new Advent kn its that are behaving themselves and causing no issues.

Advent knitting: I had to do something with all the yarn Advent sock yarn I purchased. I cast on a pair of Heel Toe Do Si Do, a pattern by the Crazy Sock Lady (I used it for an Advent pair last year and they turned out super cute) using one of the 50 gram skeins I received from Freckled Whimsy.

I also cast on my Merry Christmas Mystery after I caked all 6 skeins of my yarn. This will be a true 24 day Advent for me it appears. There are 12 clues released from Dec 1-12th. It took me 2 days to finish clue one (28 rows of knitting). The whole job thing can really interfere with knitting time.
