Week 12/2 Reading

I finished the kindle book, Very Bad Company by Emma Rosenblum. It was a story about a tech company, but also a bit of mystery and lots of people behaving very badly. I am not sure any of the characters were likable in the least.

The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson. A mystery, thriller - the main character is an 18 year old who has lived almost her entire life with her mother missing. It is holding the interest currently.

Audio Book

Emperor of Rome: Ruling the Ancient Roman World by Mary Beard. I am getting close to the end. I will miss the random Roman facts and the comforting voice of the reader.

Hardcover

The Pocket: A Hidden History of Women’s Lives 1660-1900 by Barbara Burman and Ariana Fennetaux. A pocket is not just a pocket as reading this book explains. A great example of viewing history through what many dismiss as an everyday object.
