FO Friday - Birthday Sweater

Flying around has its advantages-mainly time to knit for long stretches of time. I think this is my favorite knit item ever. I loved the pattern, the yarn, everything about the project.

I purchased the yarn at the 2023 Flagstaff Wool & Fiber Festival. I was just waiting for the correct pattern to appear. The yarn is from Superglo Fibers. I used 2 skeins of fingering in a sample skein and 2 skeins in a sample skein colorway of suri alpaca and silk. I cannot rave enough about this yarn. The colors were just perfect and the dye job was super. I am sure she will be at the Wool Festival at the end of the May - I will be stopping by and scooping up many more goodies from her!

The pattern was easy to follow (but I did have to use markers to make sure my stitch counts were correct). It originally had long sleeves but I shortened them to just above the elbow and they are perfect. The sweater totally bloomed after it was blocked.
