Mid November Reads
I finished Saturday Night at the Lakeside Supper Club by J. Ryan Stradal. It was just an alright book for me. I have read other offerings from this writer which I enjoyed more.
Kindle
The Cliffs by J. Courtney Sullivan. Not the best book I could have selected, but it is a mass market paperback. Some parts are interesting and some I would like to skim right through.
Audio Book
Emperor of Rome: Ruling the Ancient Roman World by Mary Beard. This continues to be fascinating. You do need to know your ancient writers and figures. You do not need a degree in Roman history but some familiarity with the subject is needed.
Hardcover
Leonard and Hungry Paul by Ronan Hession. This is a slow read about nice people. Just what I need after this week.
