Mid October Reads
I keep reading and listening and before I know I have completed books. Killers of a Certain Age by Dianna Raybourn and Murder is Easy by Agatha Christie were both completed this week. They were both excellent reads and I enjoyed them both tremendously.
Kindle
A More Perfect Heaven: How Copernicus Revolutionized the Heavens by Dava Sobel. This is one of the oldest books on my Kindle and I thought I should try it. It is not a page turner, but so far is keeping my interest.
Audio Book
The Lions of Tehran by Marjan Kamali. I read a previous book by this author and enjoyed the read. This book concerns two childhood friends. The setting is Iran pre and post revolution. I have just begun the book but so far it is well written and is holding my interest.
Hardcover
Saturday Night at the Lakeside Supper Club by J. Ryan Stradal. I truly enjoy this author’s writing style. His books just seem to float along and are easy reads. You think it is just a story but the universal truths hidden in ordinary lives is striking.
