New Yarn Aquisitions

What do you do when you have not had the best mental health days - buy yarn! Everyone seems to have loads of wonderful Halloween themed yarn lately. I was really not interested until I knit 2 pairs of socks using the Halloween colorway from my 2023 October Yarnable box. Now I get the appeal.

Three by the Sea does mystery sock sets a few times a year. I bought one earlier this year based on Anne of Green Gables (one of my favorite books). The Halloween set was based on the movie Hocus Pocus. I am not a huge movie fan and I fail to see why everyone gets so excited about the movie, but I thought the sock set would be nice so I pre-ordered mine a few months ago.

The October 2024 Yarnable box was also very nice. The pens sent in the box are fantastic (I am abnormally picky about my writing utensils) and the yarn is stunning.

Cozy Knitter also had some Halloween yarns on sale and then released a breast cancer colorway. How could a girl resist? I also love the name of the yarn.
