Secret Christmas Sewing Reveal

I know the recipients of the gifts have received, opened and are using them so I can now reveal some of my secret sewing. I make my in-laws pjs each Christmas. My FIL likes the same pj shorts as my DH, but with an elastic waist. These are actual flannel without a doubt (not like the suspect “flannel” I used for my DH).

My MIL prefers nightgowns. I found a very bright light orange knit at Fabric Mart in October. I use the Night Owl Pajama Pattern from Peek-A-Boo patterns. THe pattern is excellent and easy to sew.

I also sewed a reusable grocery bag for them to use when shopping. My MIL feeds the birds that visit her yard in the Winter and buys larger bags of bird seed. She saves the bags and sends them to me. I was able to use both the fronts nad backs to make a nice bag.
