Thursday Reading for 11/14
I finished The Cliffs by J. Courtney Sullivan. A relatively quick read - you will want to shake some serious sense into the main character for the majority of the book, but it is written reflecting a real life lived.
Kindle
Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. A fiction story about orphans one setting is the late 1920s and the other is current day.
Audio Book
Emperor of Rome: Ruling the Ancient Roman World by Mary Beard. Lots of ancient Roman history. It dovetails nicely with my adult Sunday School program which is a history of the early Christian church. Christianity is not really mentioned as such so far in the book, but it gives you more of a historical time feeling.
Hardcover
Leonard and Hungry Paul by Ronan Hession. This is just a slow, relaxing read about friendships between adults.
