Week One of Sewing box Advent

I bought myself a sewing Advent box from Sallie Tomato last year. I really enjoyed the items included and I know I like the products of the company in general. When the call went out in early Spring I decided to splurge again. The box is a good value. She includes patterns, materials and notions from her shop. The entire box is very well curarated.

The ornament is a velvet ball that does not show up anywhere near as nice in the picture as in person. It will go on the tree but will probably live full time in my sewing room.

The zipper case is fantastic. Her zipper quality is very good and I love the color variety included. I tried to get the picture in the correct orientation, but no such luck.

Day 3 was rolls of wonderful faux leather. I have sewn with her faux leather before and it is a lovely product.

Day 4 was bag hardware. You know I love a good label and bag hardware:)

The crushed velvet was stunning and such a rich color. Also included in the tube was a printed pattern to make a simple drawstring bag.

Day 6 was this slinky fancy fabric. I might have to use my daughters machine to sew. My usual trusty sewing sidekick has a thing against shiny fabric.

The last item of the week was a pattern that could use the fabric from the day before.
